Kurt Furomoto and Aloha Cycles are synonomous. Owner and operator of this small business, Kurt Furomoto has been in the motocross industry for over 20 years. He opened his doors to the public in May of 1993. He was the only authorized Suzuki dealer on Maui. Since then Aloha Cycles has downsized, but still offers competitive prices and great customer service. Kurt is reputable for his knowledge of dirtbikes and being on an island, its basically by word of mouth, that either makes you or breaks you. Having the right location, affordable prices and (most importantly) knowing how to treat customers right is what it takes to be successful.

After attending MMI (motorcycle mechanics institute) Kurt came home and put to use the education he acquired. He worked for different motorcycle shops on Oahu, but decided to come home to Maui and open up his own shop. His knowledge of motorcycles has helped him achieved his success.  Aloha Cycles is a terrific example of a small business surviving in a growing economy.

Misti runs our parts department. She has been working here for over 10 years. Kurt has taught her a lot so she knows her way around a bike.

We are a small business but able to handle big jobs. Our 1 man service department can do anything from a quick tire change to rebuilding engines.
